VISUAL APPROACH
I look for frames that reveal something about the character, environment or relationship rather than simply creating visually pleasing images.
I work with available and controlled light depending on what the story requires, balancing naturalism with a considered cinematic quality.
Movement is purposeful. Whether the camera is still, observational or moving with a character, the choice should support the emotional rhythm of the scene.
Lens choice becomes part of the storytelling — controlling intimacy, distance, depth and the viewer's relationship with the subject.
My cinematography is supported by experience across the wider camera and production workflow, including:
Camera Operation · Camera Assisting · Lighting · Rigging · Location Production · Multi-Camera · Documentary · Narrative
